ASSISTANCE
Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th July 2005
A Mavic mechanics workshop will be set up in the "Host Village" in Mourenx during bib number collection times. Labour will be free of charge.
Monday 11th July 2005
Technical assistance will be provided from the start to the finish by vehicles and motorcycles spread over the race. Vehicles with spare wheels will only repair cycles when equipment has been broken.
The technical assistance service will under no circumstances supply wheels if the participant's wheel can be repaired quickly. Competitors must repair punctures themselves and therefore set off with two spare race tyres or inner tubes. The location of the permanent assistance posts will be given to
you in the "Host Village" in Mourenx.
COACHES
There will be no coaches to Pau the day before the competition.
However, on Monday 11th July, there will be a coach at around 4
o’clock in the morning from Pau (Place de Verdun) to Mourenx,
it is hence essential that you leave your bike at the "Parc
Fermé Vélos", situated in the Host Village in
Mourenx, the day before the competition. And after the competition,
for competitors who have left their vehicles at the start, another
coach will take them from Pau (Place Verdun) to Mourenx.
We draw your attention to the fact that bikes will not be allowed
aboard the coaches.
Seats in the coaches must be reserved in advance, upon registration
in the race, and this service will cost 5€.
LUGGAGE
As is the case each year, a drop-off service (from Mourenx to the finish in Pau) will be available for one piece of luggage per participant.
