AN EXTRAORDINARY PASSION

Morale was high this morning, in Foix, with close to 7 000 amateurs present for the start of this magnificent stage. The ideal weather conditions with a slight cloud covering on the first part of the course were much tougher towards the end of the stage with the fierce sun making many suffer. It took more than 30 minutes for all the riders to cross the starting line…

THE 2007 ETAPE DU TOUR MONDOVELO - 15^th EDITION
FOIX / LOUDENVIELLE

Tomorrow, on Monday July 16th, 8,000 amateur cyclists will joyfully take the start of the Etape du Tour Mondovelo : Foix / Loudenvielle. This 15^th edition will follow the itinerary set out for the 15^th stage of this years Tour de France, one of the hardest stages this year. After the magnificent scenery found in the High Alps and the Isère region, it's now the turn of the Ariège , the Haute Garonne and the High Pyrénées regions to welcome the most coveted amateur bike race. The same route that will be taken by the Tour de France pro riders during the 15th stage, scheduled on Monday July 23^nd...

MONDOVELO title sponsor of l’Étape du Tour

MONDOVELO, the new specialist brand of Groupe Sport 2000 entirely and exclusively devoted to cycling, will be the title partner of the famous "Étape du Tour" cyclo-sporting race from 2007 to 2010.
