Étape du Tour 2014 : The stuff of legend
A true sporting challenge...
The 22nd edition of L'Étape du Tour set a new participation record, with almost 10,000 cycling lovers from 94 countries on the start line for an epic ride through the Pyrenees. The only French cyclosporting event held on roads completely closed to traffic took the bunch on a 148 km quest from Pau to Hautacam.

Only one month of waiting remains for the thousands of cyclists who will take starter’s orders for the 22nd edition of the Etape du Tour. This year, the event is returning to the same start and finish sites –Pau and Hautacam- as in 2008....

22nd edition of the Etape du Tour: Registration opens on November 12
Pau–Hautacam, 148 km in the heart of the fabled Pyrenees
After the historic 2013 edition, which attracted a record-breaking 13,500 athletes (10,627 of which finished the race) between Annecy and Annecy-Semnoz, the Etape du Tour is leaving the Alps for the Pyrenees.

L’étape du tour: PAU - HAUTACAM
On 20th July 2014, four days before the peloton passes by, cyclosportive riders will expected by thousands for the 22nd edition of L’Étape du Tour, on the route of the 18th stage of the Tour de France, marked out between Pau and Hautacam, with the ascent of the Tourmalet on the agenda. Pride of Place for the Giants of the Pyrenees.
