You are in for a brand new finale with the 3rd finish in Saint Flour.
Although the final climb (Montée des Orgues) will be tough, the atmosphere should be good enough to give you that last ounce of courage.
The host village will be set up on the Grande Place des Allées, a stone's throw away from the town centre and its shops.
This village features:
- a guarded parking space for bicycles
- the access to the showers (a few hundred metres from there)
- the feeding station
- the luggage lorry
- a gastronomic village full of local flavours
- activities for children
Access constraints and road closures:
The transfer from Issoire to Saint-Flour is relatively short (40 minutes). People accompanying the riders who wish to go directly to the finishing line can use the car parks and the finishing line facilities.
Setting up the finishing line operations requires closing the junction between the lower and the higher parts of the town at 9 am.
This means you will have to choose your access route depending on the itinerary you take after the race:
- the lower part of the town will remain accessible from exit no. 28 (usual exit)
- the higher part of the town will only be accessible from exit no. 27 (Coren - D679) or via Murat (D926)
