SAFETY

  • 350 volunteers involved in traffic control duties mobilised along the whole route
  • 150 gendarmes will cordon off the most dangerous zones
  • 90 medical staff (doctors, nurses, first-aiders) mobilised on the route
  • 70 motorbikes to ensure the participants’ safety
  • 9 Mavic support vehicles
  • 6 km of barriers
  • 11 ambulances spread over the route to carry out an intervention as soon as possible
  • 2 helicopters ready to intervene
  • 4 aids stations on the course
  • 19 road captains to help the participants

FEEDING ZONES

  • 6 feeding zones providing both solid food and liquids on the route including 
  • 7.5 T of bananas from Guadeloupe & Martinique

  • 400 Kg of crisps
  • 100 Kg of Beaufort and 600 Kg of local cheese
  • 30,000 slices of bread
