Some will complete this race in 6 hours, others will need more than 10 hours to cross the finish line. On thing is sure, you will have to train, get the right equipment, eat and drink to reach the end of the Etape du Tour de France.

What is the secret to reach your objective? Preparation!

With this guide created by the French Cycling Federation, we offer a 14-week training programme divided in 3 periods:

  • The first month focuses on velocity,
  • The second on strength,
  • The third on power.

Each week has 3 sessions:  a session to work on fundamentalsa long-intensity session and a session dedicated to climbing. 

So, no more excuses to begin training and be ready on July 21.
