Free screening. On July 12th, at nightfall, after the Village closes and as part of “
un été au ciné”, meet at parc Lawrance for a screening of a comedy on cycling “
Le vélo de Ghislain Lambert”, directed by Philippe Harel, starring Benoit Poelvoorde and José Garcia..
• Events and entertainment in the Village
The Étape day will be a busy day! Like a true mechanic, fix your old bicycle at the self-repair workshop of the ‘
Cycle et recycle’ association. From 2 pm until 6 pm: discover two south-western games,
6 skittle and 9 skittle, bowling’s ancestors!
From 6 pm until 8 pm: discover the Bearnais and Basque cultures through music, dance and chants, with bands
Ceù de Pau and
Lagun Eta Maïta.
At the gastronomic “
Pyrénées Sud-Ouest’ village”: from the Samatan foie gras, to the delicious Luchon candy, the Jurançon and Madiran wines, cheese from the Ossau valley and the ‘
roborative pistache’ (local meat and bean stew, made with salty sheep meat) from the Lys valley, discover the south-western gastronomy! Aside from food professionals, meet local craftsmen and discover unique crafts and skills.
